Issue:	CONCEALED FIREARMS LICENSE (Miller)

Description:	AB 225, as introduced, Miller. Firearms: concealed firearm license. Existing law authorizes the issuance, by the sheriff of a county, of a license to carry a concealed handgun or a loaded and exposed handgun, as specified. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

Details:	06/13/2009 - AB 225 failed to pass its house of origin by the June 5 deadline and is now a "two-year bill". As such, it cannot be considered again until 2010 (except by rule waiver). 03/25/2009 - Added AB 225.
