The NRA Members'

will keep you informed as the legislative situation changes in
Sacramento.
The following legislation has passed and is headed to the Governor:
SB1140
(Scott) Firearm Storage Penalty Increase - This bill
would make criminal storage of a firearm of the 3rd degree punishable
by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding 6 months, by a
fine not exceeding $1,000.
STATUS: To the Governor -- REQUEST
VETO!
SB1152
(Scott) Ammunition Sales Registration & Fingerprinting Scheme
- Would require any person engaged in the retail sale of ammunition
to record the date, name, address, date of birth, and thumbprint
of the transferee, and to make the information available to peace
officers.
STATUS: To the Governor -- REQUEST
VETO!
AB50 (Koretz)
Fifty Caliber Ban - This Bill would Ban/Restrict the
sale and possession of 50 Caliber BMG rifles.
STATUS: To the Governor -- REQUEST
VETO!
