NRA
Hosts Sacramento "Virtual Lobby Day" May 6th -
AB 2062 is scheduled to be heard on Wednesday, May 7th, in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
Several groups are coordinating active opposition to the overbearing restrictions of AB 2062.
The NRA realizes that most California gun owners cannot take the time off of work and pay the
ever-increasing fuel prices required to personally attend a "Lobby-Day" in the State Capitol in Sacramento.
Accordingly, NRA is hosting a "Virtual Lobby-Day" on Tuesday, May 6th.
See today's CAL-ERT for more information. |

Defeats San Francisco - YET AGAIN -
Exactly 4 months after the City of San Francisco lost their appeal,
the California Supreme Court today agreed with NRA by refusing to hear the city's 'Prop H' nonsense.
Locked in an apparent cycle of self-flagellation, "the City by the Bay" invited disaster when
they appealed NRA's first victory against their ill-considered "handgun ban" - because
they lost that appeal!
Now they've wasted even
MORE of the residents money
in a third failed court venture trying to justify their illegal ordinance.
When San Francisco is wrong, they are REALLY WRONG!
What does it take to convince San Francisco city government that Americans (even San Franciscans) have rights?

NRA-ILA: Supreme Court Hears Arguments in D.C. Gun Ban Case -
Today, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in District of Columbia v. Heller, a case the Court has stated is "limited to the following question: Whether Washington, D.C.'s bans [on handguns, on having guns in operable condition in the home and on carrying guns within the home] violate the Second Amendment rights of individuals who are not affiliated with any state-regulated militia, but who wish to keep handguns and other firearms for private use in their homes."
